Just heard that Bellowhead will be playing New Year's Eve at the Royal Festival Hall. That would be the most amazing NYE ever. Unfortunately, it appears it's £50 a ticket :'-(

Suspect, Bursledon Village Band Ceilidh at C# would be a fun alternative though :-)

This Saturday is Halloween, which means it's traditional for trickMorris dance or treating.

Wild Hunt will therefore be dancing around the Borough and South Bank area, starting at around 2pm at the George Inn, Borough High Street.

So yesterday evening, we went all the way over here3 hours of travel either way for a 3 hour dance out does seem a little excessive, but it's not everyday you get invited to one of the Cotsworld villages. Following on from my post about mothers day earlier, it occurs to me that Mum is half American.

Does that mean I should send half a card on the 4th Sunday of Lent and the other half on 2nd Sunday of May?

So tonight, as it's St Georges Day *attempts to feel patriotic and fails, falling back to the default apathy*, Thrales will be doing a tour of the pubs around Soho, including the following:

• Three Greyhounds, Greek Street
• The Cambridge, Cambridge Circus
• The White Horse, Newburgh Street

Plus whichever of the usual suspects we can wing on the night.
